Biometric Readers / Terminals

Fingerprint terminals of series XMP-TMC32xx-FP have been designed for biometric access control. They are equipped with an optical fingerprint sensor.

The templates (fingerprints) are stored in the secured area of the door control unit (e.g. XMP-K32EX). After a request, for example after an identification booking or after input of a personal pin code, the encrypted fingerscan will be send to the door control unit and will be compared with the stored fingerprint.

Terminals of series XMP-TMC32xx-FP are connected to real-time Door Control Units via serial interface (RS485). The highly encrypted data communication is realized with SecuCrypt® protocol.

XMP-KDR-008
  • 8-channel relay extension board for the direct switching of loads for electric door openers, optical signal devices or acoustic signal devices like horns, lamps via XMP-KDA-024 switching module
  • The 24 switch commands of XMP-KDA-024 module can be extended by connection of 3 XMP-KDR-008 with 8 relays each.
  • The address settings of the relay board are configured by jumpers (KDR0 to KDR2).
